Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent multi-franchise approved car dealer group in Cardiff for the position of Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Manager role is a vital leadership position within the company, responsible for shaping and executing the dealership’s marketing strategy across both online and offline channels.

  • Salary of £40,000 plus bonuses, with an OTE of £48,000
  • Working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday – 30 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing up to 33 days with length of service

  • Lead and motivate a team of three Marketing Executives
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms
  • Manage outsourced creative and marketing agencies
  • Oversee website advertising initiatives and campaigns
  • Organise quarterly product and event marketing campaigns
  • Analyse digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics
  • Plan and execute SEO and PPC search advertising campaigns to enhance online visibility
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and optimise strategies accordinglyMaintain consistent brand messaging and ensure alignment with the company’s objectives
  • Requirements of a Marketing Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager within the automotive industry or a similar sector
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC campaigns
  • Relevant marketing qualification or degree is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver projects to deadlines
  • Good IT literacy and effective communication skills
  • Creative and innovative approach to developing marketing strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential
