CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider working on a static commercial contract in Kingston.
You’ll be part of a professional engineering team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of a commercial building, carrying out electrical maintenance alongside a range of general building services.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to join a stable contract with overtime available, ongoing training and development, and genuine long-term progression opportunities.
THE ROLE
– Monday – Friday
– 08:00 – 17:00
– Static commercial site
– Up to £45,000
– PPM & reactive maintenance
– Electrical and general building services maintenance
– Client-facing role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
– Electrical fault-finding, lighting, power distribution and control panels
– Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
– BMS monitoring and plant checks
– Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant
– Minor plumbing and general fabric maintenance
– Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation
– Diagnose and resolve faults across building services
– Escort and supervise specialist contractors
– Liaise professionally with the client and site management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 Electrical or equivalent
– 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
– Commercial building maintenance experience
– Strong electrical fault-finding skills
– Good understanding of mechanical and general building services
– Strong communication and client-facing skills
– Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
– Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
