What you will do



  • Manage a diverse paediatric dietetic caseload covering a wide range of needs and complexities.

  • Undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments for infants, children, and young people.

  • Develop and implement personalised nutritional care plans to support optimal health outcomes for paediatric patients.

  • Provide tailored dietary advice and education to families and carers, empowering them to support their child’s nutritional needs.

  • Monitor and evaluate nutritional interventions to ensure effective and measurable outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.

  • Support enteral feeding management where required, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.

  • Participate actively in service development and quality improvement activities to enhance dietetic services.


Requirements



  • HCPC registration

  • Proficiency in Paediatric Dietetics, particularly with dysphagia cases

  • Experience managing a paediatric caseload with strong organisational skills

  • Proficiency in undertaking nutritional assessments and developing care plans

  • Capacity to work independently while showcasing excellent communication skills

  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience in Community and Acute Paediatric Dietetics

  • Enteral feeding experience

  • Previous involvement in audit and service development
