Microbiology Lab Assistant (Band 2) – Grow & Learn

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Healthcare Science Assistant (Band 2) for the Microbiology Service in Bromborough, Wirral. Core hours are 09:00–17:30, Mon–Fri, with occasional late shifts and a night shift; weekend work is typically 1 in 4.

You will support Biomedical Scientists, prepare reagents, operate equipment, and perform stock/records duties, plus data entry and general enquiries. Training will be provided; vaccinations may be required for safety.
