Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm

The Kent Autistic Trust is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Woodville Day Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to support autistic adults to lead active, fulfilling lives while benefiting from a consistent Monday to Friday working pattern with no evenings or weekends.

Woodville is a vibrant day service supporting 15 autistic individuals to access meaningful activities, develop independence, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Based over two floors, the service offers dedicated activity spaces, one-to-one rooms, and a welcoming communal area where individuals and staff can spend time together.

No two days are ever the same. Activities regularly include:

  • Swimming
  • Cinema trips
  • Coastal visits and lunches out
  • Community activities and social events

We are an energetic, community-focused service that enjoys supporting people to experience new opportunities, build confidence, and have fun.

Key Requirements

  • Manual UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Ability to confidently and consistently support individuals who may experience emotional distress, heightened anxiety, or difficulty regulating their behaviour
  • Clear, calm, and adaptable communication style to meet the needs of individuals with complex communication profiles
