We are recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children’s residential service in Lancaster. This is an opportunity for an experienced residential care professional to take on additional responsibility while continuing to make a direct difference to children and young people.

Role: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Lancaster, Lancashire – LA1

Key responsibilities:

• Providing safe, nurturing and consistent care.
• Supporting children with their individual needs and care plans.
• Building positive relationships and encouraging positive outcomes.
• Supporting safeguarding and risk management.
• Taking a senior role within the residential team.
• Supporting and mentoring other staff.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Working alongside social workers, families and other professionals.
• Promoting a positive and child-centred environment.

We’re looking for an experienced children’s residential professional with the confidence, communication skills and commitment required to operate at senior level.
