Are you an experienced school supervisor/maintenance person looking for a new role in Birmingham?

Winner Education are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a school based in West Brom to carry out day to day general maintenance and site work. This role is full-time 37.5 hours per week, on a temporary placement on an on-going basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is NOT a SPLIT SHIFT. This role is to start ASAP and you must have a DBS on the update service.

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Carry out general maintenance and DIY works around the school site
  • Deal with external contractor visits and liaising with contractors through any major works
  • Open and close the school buildings
  • Move furniture/equipment when required
  • Fire safety checks
  • Legionella checks

The successful Assistant Site Manager will:

  • Have sound technical knowledge of buildings
  • Be professional and presentable
  • Require previous school caretaking experience
  • Have a valid DBS on the update service
  • Be flexible with working hours and job requirements
