QHSE Co-ordinator (part time)
Tewkesbury. 25 hours over 5 days.
£ 15/17per hour doe
Our client is an established company who design, manufacture and supply bespoke products to support a wide range of manufacturing process instrumentation and they are now recruiting for a part-time QHSE Co-Ordinator. Candidates will need previous experience of working in a similar role with a technical engineering company.
Duties:
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the relevant standards it is approved to, including ISO9001, IEC(phone number removed) (ATEX etc), SIL.
- Be available for any external audits by the above Certification Bodies
- Action customer quality-audits if required
- Perform internal audits of all processes
- Action any non-conformances found at internal or external audits
- Monitor and report on all processes within the company in accordance with the company’s quality procedures, keeping quality procedures up to date.
- Control of content and issue of all Certificates of Conformance issued by the company
- Maintain all Quality databases and Quality documented information to include Sales, Finance,HR, Manufacturing and Engineering
- Generate & maintain detailed reporting structures using Access, Excel and Word
- Hold Quality Management Reviews every 12-14 months
Health and Safety
- Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
- Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 as subsequently amended
- Undertake suitable and sufficient risk assessments
- Put in place effective arrangements for the planning, organization, control, monitoring and review of health and safety measures in the workplace
- Keep accurate and up to date records of all arrangements
- Develop suitable emergency procedures
- ensure that relevant and adequate health and safety training and information are delivered to all staff
Environment
- Report on company waste management processes and legislative requirements to the Directors of the company at the QMR
Required Skills:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- High level of literacy
- Ability to research, analyse and evaluate information
- Ability to synthesise information and use it to produce documents which are cogent, coherent and accurate
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Inter-personal skills and ability to liaise and co-ordinate across departments, taking the lead as required
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to plan and work flexibly to achieve targets
