A fantastic opportunity to join a boutique development and asset management firm in a hands-on HR assistant role offering plenty of autonomy and the chance to become the go-to person for day-to-day HR across the business.
15 hours a week / 2 days, with ideally5 hours in the office on a Monday, with the remaining hours worked remotely and split however suits you.This role will initially be a 1 year fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent upon completion, or within year 1.
You’ll support the HR Consultant and CFO across the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment, onboarding and right-to-work checks through to payroll, benefits, performance reviews, training and leavers. You’ll also be the friendly first point of contact for employee queries, maintaining accurate records and HR systems, supporting compliance and policies, and helping to coordinate wellbeing, engagement and EDI initiatives.
In addition to HR, you’ll ask get involved in other areas of support, whether this be overflow admin or helping to arrange an event in the office!
This would suit ageneralist HR professional or HR Administrator who is organised, discreet and genuinely enjoys looking after the welfare of the staff. You’ll need to be confident working independently, highly detail-focused and comfortable juggling a broad range of HR administration, while bringing a warm, approachable and professional manner.
Previous generalist HR experience is essential – CIPD Level 3 or 5 would be advantageous but not essential.
