The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to provide vital support to the HR team with the implementation of our new HR Information System (HRIS). This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, looking to gain experience within a busy and collaborative HR environment.

What you will do:

You will support the HR team in tasks related to the system migration, including chasing right-to-work documentation, scanning and uploading employee records, and helping to ensure data is accurately uploaded. You will also assist in preparing documents for archiving and undertake general administrative support to ensure employee records are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with staff to request and follow up on outstanding right to work documents and other essential employment paperwork
  • Scan, organise and upload personnel files and documents to the new HR system
  • Assist with data entry, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to‑date
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with data protection and GDPR requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed during the transition process
  • Escalate any issues or delays to the relevant HR team member as appropriate

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter for this role:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Comfortable working with confidential information and handling sensitive data securely
  • Understanding of right-to-work requirements in the UK (desirable)
