St David Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established, successful and growing business in Porth, South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking for a varied, hands-on role within a supportive and people-focused organisation offering excellent benefits, hybrid working and genuine work-life balance.
Working across multiple UK sites, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees, covering the full employee lifecycle. This is a broad generalist HR position, with a balance of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and people development.
The Role
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Support employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and flexible working requests.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee changes and leavers.
- Coordinate inductions, probation reviews and training activities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce monthly HR reports.
- Support employee benefits, occupational health referrals and apprenticeship programmes.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement across the business.
About You
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting employee relations and the wider employee lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, approachable and able to manage competing priorities.
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or multi-site environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
