Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT equipment logistics, asset tracking, stock control, and deployment coordination. Acting as a central point of contact for logistics activities, you will ensure the efficient delivery, collection, assignment, and disposal of digital devices while maintaining accurate records within the organisation’s asset management systems.

  • Manage the receipt, storage, distribution, collection, and disposal of IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate asset and stock records within the Asset Management System and CMDB.
  • Coordinate equipment deployments, collections, and service requests, working closely with technical teams and end users.
  • Support the management and replenishment of local emergency stock locations and device provisioning services.
  • Monitor stock levels, undertake audits and inventories, and identify replenishment requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving logistics queries and escalating issues where required.
  • Assist with service improvements, process development, and compliance with Digital Services procedures.
  • Support project and business-as-usual activities through effective logistics planning and coordination.

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Logistics Support Officer to support the delivery of Digital Services across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience using computerised systems for asset, stock, or service management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload., 4 GCSEs Grade C or equivalent.
  • Diploma level qualification in a computing related field and/or equivalent professional experience and evidence of on-going personal development.
  • Advanced ECDL or equivalent knowledge

Desirable

  • Formal ICT related qualification or equivalent level of ICT experience.
  • Customer Service Qualification.
  • EDCL or Equivalent

Previous Experience Essential

  • A working knowledge of PC’s, Microsoft operating systems and software.
  • Experience of working in a busy Digital Environment

Desirable

  • Some experience of providing support of PC users.

Evidence of Particular Essential

  • Knowledge of configuration/installation of PC applications, peripherals and hardware.
  • Proficient in using Windows
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other Desktop applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple and Android endpoints
  • Knowledge of MDM including Apple Business Manager & Intune.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Methodical approach to work following set guidelines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to travel across sites/ county.
