If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Transport Shift Manager.,

  • Working as part of a team manage and motivate the driver workforce to deliver outstanding service, achieve targets, and maintain operational excellence across your shift
  • Keep customers informed and satisfied by providing accurate ETAs and proactively communicating any delivery updates
  • Manage driver performance and wellbeing, including shift briefings, absence cover, return-to-work interviews, and day-to-day support
  • Drive compliance and operational control through effective management of tachographs, drivers’ hours, working time regulations, and transport documentation
  • Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement by promoting near-miss reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting best practices across the operation A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing transport environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to work effectively with customers, drivers, and senior stakeholders
  • A customer-first mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver exceptional service
  • Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills, alongside a self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn Previous logistics or Transport Management Systems experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided Join our GXO Phillips 66 Immingham team as a Transport Shift Manager, where you’ll lead from the front, motivate drivers, drive exceptional customer service, and ensure a safe, efficient operation around the clock.
