Function Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Technician II to join a production team supporting the manufacture of innovative diagnostic products. Working in a regulated manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for completing production activities, managing materials, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out manufacturing activities in line with production schedules and work instructions.
- Manage inventory and ensure materials are available for assigned work.
- Operate and maintain designated equipment, processes, or production areas.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and “right first time”.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or laboratory environment.
- Strong quality and compliance mindset in a fast-paced setting.
- Good technical aptitude and confidence working with machinery or equipment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and perform under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in a GMP or regulated environment is advantageous.
Offer
- £13.53 per hour (£28,142 annual equivalent).
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
- Initial 6-month contract with immediate start available.
