Are you an experienced VNA or Reach Truck Driver looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role?
We’re currently recruiting Forklift Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation in Derby (DE21), with excellent facilities, overtime opportunities and the potential for a permanent contract following a successful probation period.
In this Forklift Driver role you will be operating VNA and/or Reach Trucks to load and unload goods, move stock around the warehouse and retrieve and store pallets from racking. We’re seeking Forklift Drivers with an inhouse or external forklift licence, with experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
Job Details:
- Pay: £13.54 per hour (Days) / £15.57 per hour (Afters)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Day Shift: 6am-2pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2pm-10pm
- Paid breaks
- Overtime available
- Permanent contract available after probation
What You’ll Be Doing as Forklift Driver:
- Operating VNA and/or Reach Truck equipment
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Retrieving and storing pallets from racking up to 13.5 metres high
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment
What We’re Looking For in a Forklift Driver:
- Valid forklift licence – in-house and external licences accepted
- VNA and/or Reach truck forklift experience
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Good attitude and reliable approach to work
- Ability to work safely at height
