The talkSPORT.com team spans several departments – including editorial, social, audience and tech – and we’re looking for a new Graphic Designer to work within our social media team, creating visually striking and on-brand imagery around the latest sports news, for native posting and to feature within website content.
The Role:
talkSPORT is looking for a Graphic Designer (Casual) to join our digital team.
You’ll utilise your creativity to take a proactive lead on creating bespoke, high-quality images for our various social media channels. These will serve to spark on-platform engagement – encouraging audiences to interact with our posts – and to drive traffic back to our owned and operated platform, talksport.com .
Working closely with the Social Media Editor and wider editorial team, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube accounts, ensuring talkSPORT is both leading and setting the agenda when it comes to sport’s biggest news stories and talking points, namely across Football and Boxing.

The ideal candidate will be someone with great design skills, editorial nous and a creative mind, who lives and breathes sport and wants to kick-start their career in social or digital media.
Day to day you will:
Create highly engaging graphics for our social channels and website articles, based on the sporting news cycle, to encourage conversation and debate
Write sharp, eye-catching headlines and captions that help drive views, engagement and conversation
Create and crop visuals using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools to support our editorial teams
React quickly to breaking news, trending topics, and live sports moments with timely, platform-optimised posts
Lead and participate in ideation sessions to come up with new and creative concepts based on past successes and the current news cycle
Help monitor real-time engagement data to inform what’s working and interact with users’ comments
Work collaboratively with the wider editorial and video teams to ensure content consistency across platforms
What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate:
Comfortable using Photoshop and/or possess high-level graphic design skills
Strong knowledge and passion for multiple sports, with a particular interest in Football and Boxing
Experience of creating and scheduling content across various social channels
Understanding of what content performs well across specific platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok
Excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail
Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Willingness to work evenings and weekends around key sporting events
Able to commute into our London Bridge offices at least three times a week
