The Team About the Role What You’ll Do
Build the Foundation: Design and develop the shared backend services and APIs that our product teams depend on, with clear contracts and abstractions that fit how they actually work.
Drive User Impact: Work with product teams and business stakeholders to understand where the platform is holding them back, and turn that into concrete improvements our users feel.
Own Reliability and Correctness: Build and operate systems with a strong focus on robustness, and improve them continuously through careful analysis and iteration. Managing entropy in a complex system is part of the job, and we expect you to adapt accordingly.
Build Great Software: Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code across the stack. Conduct code reviews and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Shape Architecture: Collaborate on system design, tech stack decisions, and platform boundaries, optimizing for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Lead and Influence: Guide technical direction on major initiatives such as migrations and platform capabilities, and mentor team members along the way.
Promote Innovation and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
The tech stack includes Golang, React/Type Script, Python, various ML models, My SQL, F#, Docker images deployed on a Kubernetes cluster in our cloud infrastructure (GCS, AWS, or Azure), and Git Hub CI/CD.
