Support Worker (Female Only) | Lisburn | £13.45 per hour
Staffline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading disability support organisation for a dedicated Female Support Worker to join their Supported Living Service in the Lisburn area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries.
Hours Available
- 20 hours per week
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent contracts
- 3-week rolling rota
- Shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 9/10pm
- Flexibility required, including weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours on a rotational basis
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults in a supported living environment, helping individuals maintain independence and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting service users with daily living activities
- Providing personal care where required
- Promoting independence and community inclusion
- Assisting with social, leisure, and life skills activities
- Supporting medication administration in line with policy
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participating in cleaning, household tasks and food preparation
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 6 months’ caring experience (paid or personal caring responsibilities)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in supporting people within a care environment
- Awareness of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities
