Job Description:

St Peter’s CofE Academy is seeking an outstanding and innovative Second in Department for Maths. You will work closely with the head of department to ensure high quality learning takes place and that outstanding attainment and progress is secured at key stage 3 and 4.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering the highest quality lessons and achieving excellent results for your students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent leadership and management skills
  • Be able to assist in motivating and developing the Maths staff at the Academy
  • Demonstrate excellent curriculum, data and analytical skills to ensure that the curriculum is fit for purpose
  • Demonstrate the potential to ensure exceptional progress for our students
