We’re looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
As a Service Manager working in Children We Care For at the Trust you will:-
- Lead the service in the management of the workloads focused of effective planning that is child centred, focused on permanence and ensuring staff supervision and practice standards are embedded
- Ensure interventions and support for children and young people through multi-agency approaches are signposted and managed with the agreed standards guidelines for working with children and families; provide scrutiny, professional guidance, quality assurance and direction to your service
- Hold practitioners and managers to account for meeting required standards of practice and driving performance through effective supervision, appraisal and support and support the Trusts priorities and transformation and to ensure that statutory duties and regulations are met.
About you:
- Qualified Social Worker, Social Work England registered and willing to undertake an enhanced DBS.
- You will need to be a confident and inspirational leader with experience in management gained within Children’s Services.
- You should be able to draw on your experience to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a head for complexity, and know how to improve services.
- We would expect you to be able to utilise your significant knowledge of working with vulnerable children in need of statutory safeguarding intervention in a range of settings and from a variety of backgrounds.
- Have a proven track record of supporting continuous improvement in service delivery.
