Renowned for quality, innovation and collaborative working, the company has built a strong reputation for successfully delivering complex new build, refurbishment, fit-out and extension projects for both public and private sector clients.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-value projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a respected contractor that offers long-term career progression, professional development and the chance to work on landmark construction schemes.Your new role As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects in Northern Ireland, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will be responsible for setting out, managing subcontractors, monitoring quality, maintaining site records and supporting programme delivery. You will also provide technical support to site operations, assist with the management of subcontract packages and ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.What you’ll need to succeed
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Site Engineer or similar role within the construction industry.
- Demonstrable experience setting out on large-scale construction projects.
- SMSTS / CSR qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
Desirable:
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous experience working on reinforced concrete structures, including slipform or jumpform systems.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience using Fieldview and/or 4P Viewpoint.
- Strong IT and reporting skills.
