They are currently searching to add a Health & Safety Officer to their already strong operational team. Your new role As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a key role in delivering and maintaining a positive Health and Safety culture, assisting with the implementation of the Company’s Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Policies and procedures with support from the Health and Safety Manager.You will be tasked with assisting in ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated alongside the development and regular review of SHEQ Policies, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all operations and works carried out. You will regularly assist with ongoing development and administration of ISO accreditations & carry out regular site audits & inspections on site and within the workshop and conduct any accident investigations when necessary. What you’ll need to succeed As a successful Health & Safety Officer, you will have a previous track record working in a similar role preferably within a construction environment. You’ll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs & 9001) throughout a live project. You will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree. Membership of IOSH or a similar professional body is desirable. With sites covering both NI and across the UK, a flexible approach to limited travel is essential.
