Shifts and Pay –

n

Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm

n

Friday 8am-12pm

n

n

13.03 per hour

n

n

Responsibilities –

n

n
• Operate lab equipment such as density meter, spectrophotometer, ph and conductivity meters.

n

• Prepare samples for GC and other specialist instrumentation.

n

• Sensory Analysis – prepare samples for Sensory Panel, set up sensory software and maintain reference samples.

n

• Collect samples from production, use LIMS to log all samples and record their results.

n

• Apple 5S principles to the laboratory environment, ensuring good housekeeping and store all incoming samples appropriately in accordance with HMRC guidlines.

n

• Comply with all EHS, Quality and Food Hygiene guidlines.

n

n

Experience/Qualificiations –

n

To be considered candidates must have the following

n

n
• Quality lab/Spirits industry experience (minimum 3 months).

n

• Tertiary education in science such as HNC/HND in chemistry, bioscience or food science.

n

• Relevant IT systems experience e.g. Microsoft Office, LIMS, Chemstation

n

• Good attention to detail

n

n
