Overview
In this role you will contribute to water sector projects across the UK, helping deliver innovative civil engineering solutions from feasibility through detailed design. You will work within a collaborative team of water specialists to support design delivery, budgets, and schedules. The role offers progression through AMP8, exposure to award‑winning projects, and mentorship from industry leaders. You’ll help improve water quality, resilience, and climate adaptation while growing your skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop civil design solutions from needs identification to detailed design
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive delivery
- Support and lead other civil engineers and junior staff
- Deliver designs and documentation within agreed timescales and budgets
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status (ideally) and membership of a relevant engineering institution
- Water industry experience with design and construction knowledge
- Proven ability to deliver design deliverables on time and within budget
- Experience leading or mentoring peers
