Manager, Senior Manager or Director – Financial Services

Overview

In this Senior Manager/Director role, you will lead Financial Services consulting engagements at Simon-Kucher in London, shaping strategy for FS clients in Payments and FinTech. You’ll drive project delivery while developing new business and nurturing client relationships. You’ll manage one to two project teams, contribute to thought leadership, and mentor junior colleagues to grow the FS practice. Responsibilities

• Lead FS consulting projects and oversee client engagements
• Drive business development and client acquisition/retention for the FS practice
• Manage one to two project teams and sponsor client relationships
• Create content and thought leadership to support FS growth
• Mentor and develop early career colleagues and broaden FS sector exposure
• Collaborate with Partners/Senior Directors to deliver high-impact outcomes

Key requirements

• Substantial experience in consulting or in-house product/commercial strategy in Payments and/or FinTech
• 3+ years of leading and managing teams with senior stakeholder relationships
• Experience managing multiple consulting projects simultaneously
• Proven track record in impactful business development
• Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial, curious, and client-focused with a drive to deliver
• Outstanding communication skills for simplifying complex ideas
• Interest in growth topics and the ability to develop new thought leadership in FS
