About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their team, offering a hybrid work arrangement based in East London . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing comprehensive and cutting-edge telecommunications solutions tailored to meet complex client needs. You will translate business requirements into technical blueprints, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of proposed systems. This position requires a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape, excellent technical acumen, and the ability to articulate complex designs to both technical and non-technical audiences, driving the adoption of advanced telecom technologies in the Eastern Cape region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end telecoms solutions , including network architecture, service integration, and technology selection.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to understand customer requirements and market trends.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, diagrams, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and services to enhance solution offerings.
- Ensure solutions are designed to meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to implementation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in telecommunications , with a significant portion in solutions architecture or pre-sales engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, cloud technologies, wireless communication, and various telecom services.
- Proven ability to design complex, integrated solutions for enterprise clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
