Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect / Hybrid – Manchester or London
Help shape the future of DCC’s Microsoft cloud estate, leading the design, governance and technical evolution of Azure and Microsoft 365 services. How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future.
- Design, provision, configure and govern Azure and Microsoft 365 services, producing end‑to‑end solution designs aligned to enterprise architecture, security requirements and business outcomes.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Microsoft cloud capabilities across identity, collaboration, security, management, integration and related platform services.
- Develop automation and tooling, primarily using PowerShell, to improve provisioning, configuration, governance, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Help define cloud platform strategy, standards, governance and lifecycle management across Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric-related services.
- Work collaboratively with Enterprise Architecture, security, infrastructure, delivery teams and third parties to integrate cloud services, support migrations and provide technical leadership on resilience, compliance, troubleshooting and optimisation.
What you need to bring:
- Proven experience designing, provisioning, configuring and governing Azure and Microsoft 365 services within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong cloud solution architecture skills, with deep knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 including identity, security, governance, administration and integration.
- Strong hands‑on PowerShell automation capability; experience with Python, C# and broader software engineering or DevOps practices would be beneficial.
- Experience defining governance, standards and operational controls, with a strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, policy enforcement and lifecycle management.
- Excellent technical leadership, troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently on complex initiatives and partner effectively with senior stakeholders and third parties.
