Overview
In this role you lead complex, large-scale construction projects from inception to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget quality outcomes. You will guide cross-functional teams, implement governance and risk controls, and manage stakeholders and finances. The position sits within our Real Estate team in Bristol, focusing on high-impact programmes and client facing delivery. You will shape project approaches, mentor junior staff, and contribute to sustainable, compliant project execution.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain project plans with schedules, budgets, and resources
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet objectives
- Implement project governance, processes, and lifecycle controls
- Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies
- Monitor finances and manage change control
- Facilitate clear communication through meetings and reports
- Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients
- Mentor junior project managers to support development
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Construction Management
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale construction projects
- PMP certification
- Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a consultancy environment is preferred
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED is a plus
