Overview
Ambitious hands-on General Manager to lead two established boutique fitness studios in central London. You will own day-to-day operations, sales performance, and member experience across both sites, collaborating with coaches and local partners. You’ll drive membership growth, revenue, and retention while upholding high service, safety, and standards. You’ll shape local partnerships, community plans, and events to deliver exceptional experiences and business impact. This role offers visibility, direct leadership, and the chance to influence fitness experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operation, sales performance, team leadership, and member journey across two studios
- Review membership data, drive local partnerships, support coaches, and welcome members during peak periods
- Drive revenue, membership growth, retention, and profitability
- Develop sales, marketing, partnership, and community plans
- Identify new revenue opportunities through memberships, packages, events, and partnerships
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales, front-of-house, and coaching teams
- Maintain high standards of classes, service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection requirements
- Oversee booking, membership, and CRM systems
- Support local events, launches, activations, and referral initiatives
- Build relationships with local businesses, offices, and community partners
Key requirements
- Experience as a General Manager, Studio Manager, Club Manager, or Operations Manager
- Background in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or another service-led environment
- Proven ability to drive sales, membership growth, and commercial results
- Strong people leadership, coaching and team-development skills
- Commercially aware and confident using performance data
- Passionate about fitness, wellbeing and delivering outstanding service
- Hands-on, energetic and comfortable leading from the front
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and occasional events
- Experience in boutique fitness, group training or multi-site operations would be advantageous
