Overview

In this role, you will drive the design and optimization of complex GPU hardware blocks, collaborating across design, verification and validation teams to deliver high-performance, power-efficient silicon. You will shepherd microarchitecture specifications, analyze trade-offs, and contribute to design reviews and bug resolution. The position offers mentoring opportunities and a chance to shape cutting-edge silicon solutions for mobile, smart and connected devices. You will work with the latest silicon design techniques and leave a measurable impact on product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, verification, and validation teams to develop silicon solutions
  • Prepare detailed microarchitecture design specifications and execution plans
  • Analyze and optimize circuits for frequency, area, power, and performance
  • Participate in design reviews with improvement recommendations
  • Maintain and enhance the design environment and resolve design bugs
  • Mentor graduate engineers and junior team members
  • Contribute to training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Leverage latest silicon design techniques, tools and technologies
  • Plan and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams

Key requirements

  • Solid knowledge of digital IC design techniques and methodologies
  • Hands-on RTL design experience at IP or SoC level using SystemVerilog
  • Proficiency in optimizing circuit designs and balancing performance trade-offs
  • Experience with ASIC or FPGA design tools and environments
  • Exposure to formal proof methodology for design intent
  • Strong analytical, responsibility and problem-solving capabilities
