Overview
In this role you will join the project controls team on high-profile construction projects, delivering performance reporting and analysis to support decision-making. You will work closely with cost and planning engineers to establish baselines, monitor progress and costs, and provide actionable recommendations to clients. The position offers exposure to major infrastructure programmes and requires strong analytical and communication skills. You will contribute to delivering value through robust planning and reporting, leveraging established tools and standards.

Responsibilities
- Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines with planning and cost engineers
- Establish progress and cost monitoring methods
- Produce project control reports and performance analyses
- Provide recommendations to clients based on control data
- Collaborate with client teams and internal stakeholders on project controls
- Support Earned Value, baseline management, and change control activities
- Utilize planning software (P6) and reporting databases to track performance
- Assist in ensuring data integrity and timely reporting
Key requirements
- Experience in a project controls environment on a major project or programme within the infrastructure sector (airports, rail, utilities or defence)
- Solid understanding of Earned Value, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Primavera (P6)
- Familiarity with Oracle and SAP and web-based project control tools
- Numerate and computer literate; graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience
- Security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance
