Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Birmingham working in partnership with British retailer, WHSmith.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days from 7′ pattern, with start time window of 03:00 to 07:00, contracted to 45 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces while collecting returns from stores in line with operational requirements
- Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
- Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by always being polite and courteous
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
