Beach Baker is delighted to be recruiting an Associate / Associate Director level Property Management Surveyor to join an established and growing property consultancy in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial property management professional looking to take the next step in their career, working with an impressive mix of institutional investors, property companies and major investment clients.

The role offers plenty of client exposure and responsibility, with the successful candidate taking ownership of a portfolio of commercial properties across the South West and South Wales.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a varied commercial portfolio, with a particular focus on retail, leisure, shopping centres and retail parks.

A key part of the position will be understanding each client’s objectives and building strong, trusted relationships to ensure their assets are managed effectively and commercially.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day relationships with clients and occupiers
  • Overseeing service charge budgets and reconciliations
  • Financial and arrears management
  • Ensuring properties meet relevant compliance requirements
  • Providing accurate and timely client reporting
  • Working closely with facilities management, accounting and support teams
  • Liaising with external consultants and advisers
  • Identifying opportunities to work with other departments and generate additional services for clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients, occupiers and colleagues across the wider business

About You

You will ideally be MRICS qualified, although candidates from a strong surveying background with relevant commercial property management experience will also be considered.

You are likely to have around four or more years’ property management experience and be comfortable managing client relationships and taking responsibility for your own portfolio.

You will also be:
