Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Billing Administrator to work with our client on an initial three-month temporary contract. The role is based in Chorley, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the financial stability of the organisation by maintaining timely cash flow and minimising unbilled activity.
Responsibilities will include invoicing all accounts to patients, insurers, NHS and other third parties in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring data collection requirements are met for coding and billing purposes, undertaking outpatient coding and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of invoices
Main Duties:
Invoice all accounts to patients, insurers, NHS and other third parties in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure data collection requirements are met for coding and billing purposes
Undertake outpatient coding
Ensure the accurate and timely submission of invoices
Liaise with site-based operational and finance teams, credit control and other departments to resolve billing queries
Support increased revenue capture and ensure compliance
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience within billing administration, or a similar financial administration role
Enhanced DBS certificate
Experience of resolving billing queries
Accurate and timely approach to invoice processing and submission
