Welfare Rights Officer: Housing Stability & Benefits

Dudley Council seeks an experienced Welfare Rights Officer on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to strengthen the Welfare Rights Team. The role focuses on providing specialist advice on welfare benefits and helping clients maximise income to prevent homelessness.

You will support with benefit applications, reconsiderations, appeals, and disability-related support, working with service users and frontline staff to secure housing stability and access to financial assistance.
