We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Office & Facilities Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of our Manchester (Deansgate) office. Location and Working Pattern

Manchester, Deansgate – 5 days on site. Easily accessible via train / tram.

Client Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the Manchester office, ensuring it remains safe, professional and well maintained.
  • Act as the main point of contact for facilities, buildings and office‑related matters, working with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance and contractor activity, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment and consumables to maintain working order and stock levels.
  • Support budgeting, expenditure monitoring and invoice processing for office‑related costs.
  • Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance, including relevant checks and documentation.
  • Oversee office security and access systems and ensure consistent application of safety procedures.
  • Deliver local onboarding, ensuring a welcoming induction for new starters.

Must‑have Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management, facilities management or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, supplier management and basic financial processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle competing priorities with professionalism.
  • Strong communication abilities when liaising with staff, suppliers and visitors.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice‑to‑have Skills

  • Familiarity with compliance, purchasing or HR administration.
  • Experience managing health and safety processes or audits.

Contract

12‑month contract position in Manchester.
