Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.Bristol – 1/2 days a week onsiteUp to £90,000 plus benefitsAboutThey are a growing data and technology consultancy helping organisations turn data into better decisions, smarter processes and new opportunities.They’re growing, and looking for a Tech Lead / Tech Delivery Lead to join the leadership team and take ownership of the technical quality and delivery of client work.This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll be the senior technical and delivery anchor across the business — helping win new work, deliver brilliantly for clients, and earn the trust that brings them back.The roleThis isn’t a pure engineering role, and it isn’t a strategy role where you hand over a roadmap and walk away.We’re looking for a confident, hands-on technical leader who enjoys getting into the detail, making decisions, challenging assumptions and driving things through to delivery.Our Data Consultants lead discovery, design and much of the customer journey. You’ll provide the technical oversight that keeps those phases on track, helping shape the architecture and technical approach before projects convert — then staying close to the build and delivery to make sure what we’ve promised gets delivered to a high standard.You’ll work across:PresalesClient leadershipTechnical deliveryTeam leadershipTechnology improvementTechnical strategyQuality and governanceYou’ll also be someone the MD can trust to bounce ideas off, challenge thinking and help solve difficult problems.What we’re looking forYou’ll need a strong technical foundation across data, cloud and modern application development, alongside the leadership and consultancy skills to operate confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.Experience with many of the technologies below would be valuable:Cloud: Azure and/or AWSData platforms: Databricks, Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric — with deep expertise in at least oneBI & visualisation: Power BI and/or TableauGenerative AI: ChatGPT, Copilot and/or GeminiApps & automation: Microsoft Power PlatformSource control & CI/CD: GitHub and/or Azure DevOpsInfrastructure as code: TerraformCode: SQL and PythonThe personFit matters hugely.
