Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design projects across commercial, education, healthcare and luxury hotel sectors. You will work within the electrical engineering team to deliver lighting, power, fire alarm, and distribution designs that meet client and regulatory requirements. You will use design software to prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications, and you will witness and commission installations on site. You will shape project outcomes by applying strong technical knowledge and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in a London-based consultancy. Responsibilities

• Design lighting, small power, fire alarm, lightning protection, sub-mains distribution and ancillary electrical services
• Use design software to prepare calculations and designs
• Prepare specifications, reports and condition surveys
• Prepare equipment schedules
• Draw schematics, general arrangements and sections for electrical services and mark up drawings
• Conduct site inspections for witnessing, testing and commissioning

Key requirements

• 4+ years UK building services experience
• Strong technical knowledge
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, Relux
• Experience of REVIT projects
