Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will support a busy fire alarm installation team across London and the Southeast, managing commercial and contract aspects of large-scale systems. You will work to control costs, assess risk, and resolve disputes within NEC3 frameworks while contributing to project success on fire alarm, BMS, and MEP install projects. This permanent position offers a clear path to impact the commercial performance of a well-established installer and comes with a competitive salary and benefits. Pay / Benefits

• up to circa £70,000 salary

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3 contracts and dispute resolution
• Cost planning, costing processes, and cost control
• Maintain contractual and commercial awareness across projects
• Support risk assessment and mitigation within commercial framework
• Work on fire alarm, BMS, and MEP/M&E projects
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure financial and contractual alignment

Key requirements

• excellent knowledge of NEC3 contracts
• dispute resolution experience
• strong understanding of project risk and costing processes
• contractual and commercial awareness
• experience in fire alarm, BMS, M&E or MEP environments
• not necessarily fully qualified in quantity surveying
