Process Development Manager

Overview

As Process Development Manager at Greencore Bow, you will lead the end-to-end process development for customer and category projects, ensuring feasible, sustainable, and commercially viable launches. You’ll drive collaboration across the PD team, customers, and operations to meet critical timelines and quality targets. You will shape product concepts from ideation through implementation, while maintaining margins and strong relationships. Responsibilities

• Manage all customer and category PD activity to meet timelines and feasibility; ensure right-first-time launches
• Contribute product knowledge and customer insights within the category team to align with customer requirements and financial targets
• Conceptualize, test and refine new product designs through creative and implementation stages for feasibility and sustainability
• Lead feasibility meetings and keep site teams updated with actions and progress
• Guide the PD team through implementation, monitor scale-up trials and ensure timely launch dates
• Custodian of product quality, ensuring margins align with the commercial brief
• Build and maintain customer relationships as the dedicated contact, communicating internally and externally and resolving issues
• Stakeholder management with operational peers to support collaborative NPD delivery
• Develop team capability through task-focused coaching to maximise performance

Key requirements

• Experience delivering high-quality, sustainable, commercial products
• Ability to lead multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
• Solid understanding of food manufacturing principles demonstrated via feasible proposals
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Strong customer service orientation and credibility as a food authority
