In this role you will advise a diverse client base on GDPR compliance, data protection risk, and regulatory obligations. You will work within a respected, specialist team to deliver practical solutions across advisory and contentious matters. You will handle tasks from DSARs to drafting privacy notices and data protection policies, and you may support audits and compliance reviews. Responsibilities
- Advise on GDPR compliance and data protection obligations
- Handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Draft and review privacy notices and data protection policies
- Draft and negotiate supplier data protection agreements
- Advise on data breaches and regulatory requirements
- Support clients with data protection audits and compliance reviews
- Contribute to advisory and, where needed, contentious data protection matters
Key requirements
- 4+ years’ PQE in data protection law
- Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
- Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
- Practical and commercial approach to client advice
