Overview
In this role you will manage a varied residential property caseload and contribute to client development and growth of the team. You will work within a well‑established Residential Property team at a leading regional law firm in Poole, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers. You will ensure efficient service in line with the Law Society Conveyancing Protocol and CQS, while supporting referrer engagement and the firm’s growth strategy. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases)
- Handle transfers of equity, remortgages, new build matters, and shared ownership/Help to Buy transactions
- Own files from instruction to completion with emphasis on efficiency and quality
- Adhere to Law Society Conveyancing Protocol and CQS requirements
- Contribute to the team’s financial performance and client service standards
- Maintain and develop referrer relationships and support growth strategy
Key requirements
- 4+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)
- Strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing
- Ability to manage files independently from instruction to completion
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Commercial awareness including profitability, file management, and service delivery
- Proven ability or plan to build and maintain introducer relationships
- Ability to balance quality, volume, and client expectations in a busy environment
