Overview

In this role you will support a premier Corporate & Acquisition Finance group within a leading international law firm. You will advise banks, sponsors, corporates and funds on a broad range of financing transactions, including cross-border matters and asset-backed or trade finance structures. Working with an international, collaborative team, you’ll handle complex financings, nurture client relationships and contribute to business development. Responsibilities

  • Advising on corporate and acquisition finance transactions
  • Handling event-driven and leveraged finance matters
  • Supporting investment-grade lending and working capital facilities
  • Advising on asset-backed, receivables and trade finance arrangements
  • Assisting clients with corporate treasury matters
  • Managing transaction workstreams and client relationships
  • Collaborating with colleagues across jurisdictions
  • Contributing to marketing, networking and business development initiatives

Key requirements

  • 3+ years’ PQE in a reputable firm
  • Strong experience in corporate, acquisition or leveraged finance
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Confidence building and maintaining client relationships
  • Interest in business development and expanding networks
  • Thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Enthusiasm for complex, cross-border transactional work
  • Exposure to data centres or technology sectors advantageous but not essential
