Overview
As a Program Management Lead you drive the planning, execution and delivery of large, complex programs across multiple service lines and geographies. You act as the single point of contact between sponsors and delivery teams, owning the program strategy, governance and risks. You guide cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with client and Wipro goals. The role demands strategic input, stakeholder management at CXO level, and a bias toward continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Direct planning, execution and delivery of large-scale programs within a matrix organization
- Own integrated program strategy, scope, cost, schedule and quality commitments
- Interface between program sponsors and delivery teams; manage governance and senior stakeholder communication
- Control risk, scope changes, contractual deviations and P&L; manage financials and revenue recognition
- Maintain senior client relationships (CxO level) and act as trusted advisor for transformation initiatives
- Lead multi-service team collaboration, drive pre-sales support and robust solutioning for complex deals
- Establish governance framework; manage risk, compliance and program outputs
- Enable knowledge capture, training, and development to improve methodologies and tools
- Develop skill plans and build internal talent pipelines for critical roles
- Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability across the program portfolio
- Support business development through opportunities farming around the program(s)
- Inspire confidence and manage escalations to maintain program momentum
Key requirements
- 17+ years of experience in program management
- 5+ years in a strategic advisory role to C-level clients
- Experience leading large/complex programs with multiple BUs and vendors
- Strong program governance with CXOs and senior sponsors
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
- Experience managing 200+ people and coordinating client and partner teams
- Strong risk, change, and contract management
- Knowledge of core business processes, and transformation domains
- Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile and SAFe; certifications in Agile/PRINCE2/PMI/SAFe (PMP/PgMP preferred)
- Additional certifications in industry domains or enterprise apps (preferred)
