Overview
In this role you will lead and support high-value banking and finance matters within a collaborative, growth-focused law firm. You will handle a mix of real estate, acquisition, corporate lending, development, project, and impact investment finance, drafting and negotiating core documents while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. You’ll advise lenders and borrowers, nurture key client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth across domestic and international transactions. Responsibilities
- Lead and support a range of finance matters including real estate, acquisition, corporate lending, development, project, and impact investment finance
- Draft, negotiate and advise on facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, loan notes and related documents
- Advise lenders and borrowers on new lending, refinancings and restructurings
- Manage transaction workstreams across multidisciplinary teams and across domestic and international work
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and business development
- Mentor and support junior lawyers
- Contribute to strategic growth areas within the team
Key requirements
- 3-6 years PQE in banking and finance
- Strong track record of leading finance transactions and managing client relationships
- Experience across sectors such as sustainable economy, impact investing, financial services, private wealth, real estate or international finance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating at all levels
- Commercial, proactive and professional approach
