Overview

In this role you apply AI engineering to real business problems at Lendable, shaping how we automate and augment finance workflows. You’ll work in a small, autonomous team to build reliable AI-enabled services that scale across loans, cards and motor finance. You will advance chatbot capabilities, document parsing, and intelligent case management, turning experiments into production systems. This is a hands-on role that blends engineering, process design, and AI to reduce manual work and improve customer outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Improve the chatbot’s quality and expand the account actions it can complete autonomously
  • Expand in-house document extraction pipelines for faster, more accurate parsing
  • Design LLM-driven workflows to streamline case management
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual work with AI systems
  • Own solutions from discovery through deployment, evaluation and monitoring

Key requirements

  • Strong engineering skills and experience building production systems
  • Hands-on experience using LLMs in real workflows
  • Experience designing and improving prompts, retrieval pipelines, agent workflows and evaluations
  • Understanding of business processes and judgment about where AI can simplify or automate them
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, test hypotheses and progress with partial information
