Overview
In this Equipment Development Engineer role, you drive technical leadership for the Quality Lab Engineering team, shaping the development and optimisation of lab equipment and test capabilities. You collaborate across Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing and Product Engineering to raise equipment performance and reliability. You tackle complex technical challenges, lead optimisation projects and mentor engineers. This position offers impact on laboratory capability, efficiency and safety in a global semiconductor context.
Pay / Benefits
- Starting salary 45000-60000 DOE

Responsibilities
- Act as technical expert for laboratory equipment and test systems
- Lead equipment optimisation, integration, and capability improvement projects
- Drive equipment reliability, utilisation, productivity, and cost improvements
- Lead complex technical investigations and root cause analysis
- Define engineering standards, best practices, and technical strategy
- Mentor and develop engineers within the team
- Collaborate with Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering stakeholders
Key requirements
- Degree in Electronic, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or related
- Experience (ideally leading but at least involved) in complex engineering projects and equipment integrations
- Experience working on automated equipment, instrumentation and control systems
