Commissioning Manager – Data Centre (Nordics)

Overview

In this role you will lead the commissioning project management across multiple projects, coordinating stakeholders, contractors and consultants to deliver a well-managed commissioning process. You will monitor design input, procurement alignment and kick off and progress meetings to ensure quality and timely delivery. Your work will span design review, tender/contractor evaluations and weekly progress reporting, with opportunities to travel internationally. You will contribute to Arcadis’ mission of delivering sustainable, high-quality outcomes for complex, large-scale assets.

Responsibilities

• Review design at key stages for commissioning suitability
• Attend design page turns and provide input on commissioning clauses
• Review tender documents and trade packages to ensure commissioning compatibility
• Assess fee proposals and tender returns for compliance with commissioning needs
• Lead and participate in Quality Kick Off, site inductions, startup meetings, commissioning meetings and quality/progress meetings
• Prepare a commissioning dashboard and weekly/or monthly reporting on commissioning status and quality events
• Share lessons learned with site teams and support transfer of knowledge
• Participate in MEP coordination meetings, pull planning and other project coordinator meetings

Key requirements

• Understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques
• Ability to manage technical disciplines
• Experience on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects (hyperscale advantageous)
• Ability to commit to significant international travel
