Overview
In this Level 4 role, you support investment governance, process management and activity to enable the CIO to focus on strategic leadership. You will own governance processes, help design scalable improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, Technology and Distribution. You will drive audit-ready documentation, KPI delivery and continuous improvement, with potential AI enhancement ideas. This position offers a chance to shape governance practices across Quilter Cheviot and the wider Group, contributing to robust controls and efficient investment operations.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage core investment governance processes and documents with rigorous audit trails
- Maintain and refresh governance artifacts and Terms of Reference
- Coordinate governance activity across the investment function and with Group stakeholders
- Support and improve investment processes, proposing scalable improvements and AI enhancements
- Partner with Technology to design automated workflows and process controls
- Provide structured analytical support for investment decision making and act as a bridge between internal teams and external providers
- Support development of internal capabilities to reduce external dependency
- Design and deliver investment-related KPIs with stakeholders across Distribution, Governance, Risk and Group
- Maintain intranet content and internal materials for transparent governance information
Key requirements
- Experience in investment governance, investment operations, risk, compliance, governance or related financial services environment
- Strong understanding of governance processes, control frameworks, audit trails and process documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders and drive activity to completion
- Confidence working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, Governance, Technology, Marketing and Communications)
- Analytical capability and attention to detail, with structured support for investment process activity and improvement
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and work with Technology to improve workflows and controls
- Clear communication skills and ability to maintain governance materials and internal content for varied audiences
