In this role you will lead Wealth Solutions product strategy and execution, shaping priorities across multiple agile teams. You will own the product vision and translate strategy into actionable roadmaps aligned with business goals. You will guide requirements, backlog grooming, and cross-functional delivery while partnering with Technology, Operations, Sales, and product peers. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, governance of data foundations, and thoughtful use of AI and automation to improve client experience and controls. Responsibilities
- Provide influential product leadership within Wealth Solutions to improve platform capability, control, and scalability
- Own the product vision and strategic roadmap for key Wealth Solutions offerings and translate strategy into executable plans
- Drive execution of the product vision across multiple agile Scrum teams with clear requirements and outcomes
- Partner with Wealth Solutions Product Managers, Technology, Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and manage dependencies
- Lead and mentor engineering, QE, and design teams; maintain a groomed backlog several sprints ahead with well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Monitor industry trends, competition, and client feedback to inform prioritization and adjust delivery plans
- Champion pragmatic improvements leveraging tools, automation, and AI to enhance delivery efficiency, control, and client experience
- Define and implement target operating models for Wealth Solutions, clarifying ownership and accountability
- Ensure strong data foundations by shaping data requirements and standards to support informed decisions
- Role-model inclusive leadership, coaching new Product Owners and guiding teams through ambiguity and challenges
Key requirements
- Wealth services cash management knowledge including payments (Bacs, CHAPS, SWIFT, faster payments), cash accounts, movements, reconciliation, reporting, and 3rd party system integrations
- Proven Product Owner or business change experience in financial services; openness to candidates with strong domain knowledge and product ownership mindset
- Track record of building and launching products from ideation to launch and revision
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud-native architectures, and data visualization tools
- Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and writing well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or related; Master’s or certifications (CSPO, SAFe) are a plus
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong financial and business acumen with ability to build business cases and analyze product metrics
- Demonstrated ability to lead through collaboration and foster accountability and continuous improvement
